Devoted family man and religious faithful Bob Collins (Ernie Hudson) is devastated by a tragic crime that shakes his faith to the core, when his business is ruined on the eve of it's grand opening. Jake (Bill McAdams Jr.), who by chance went along for the ride that fateful night, with revengeful bully Snake Cain and his friend, finds himself overcome by guilt over what has transpired. Jake's boss Frank (Kevin Sorbo) tries to intervene and lead both men down the road of forgiveness while Jake's son and Bob's daughter forge an unexpected bond of friendship, a force to be reckoned with as tensions escalate. Set in rural Texas, Gallows Road explores heartbreak, faith and forgiveness with Ernie Hudson delivering perhaps the best performances of his career.
